Easy Tips on Fitting Your DreamBox 2 in Small Spaces

Have questions on how to fit the DreamBox 2 in a tiny space? Look no further!

With its versatile design and customizable features, the DreamBox 2 offers multiple layout options for rooms large and small! Whether you're a scrapbooker, a painter, a sewist, or a general craft enthusiast, this storage solution allows you to save on space while still optimizing your workflow. Take a look through some of our most popular layouts below for inspiration (All under 9'2")!

Fold-In Swing Doors

If the main wall in your craft space is just shy of the full 9'2" width that an open DreamBox 2 has, you can fold in the Swing Doors, which only require 85"~ inches of wall space from end to end. This arrangement also provides easier access to supplies in your Swing Doors, giving you a perfect U-shaped space.

While the Center Box and the Side Boxes themselves fit within 76" inches, you may need those extra few inches on the side to fully open your Swing Doors forward! For the ideal clearance, make sure there is 4.5" on either side.

This setup works well for both the DreamBox 1 or the DreamBox 2! Watch Kathy's video to learn more:

Fold-In Side Boxes

To achieve a closer U-shaped workflow, you can fold in the Side Boxes on both sides so that all your supplies are flush against your workspace. This setup only requires 69" inches in width for the DreamBox 2!

L-Shaped Side Box & Swing Doors

The L-Shaped arrangement allows for you to tuck your DreamBox 1 or DreamBox 2 into a corner. This also works for tight spaces that require your Box to be flush with other furniture.

Depending on how much space you have, you can fold in both the Side Box and the Swing Door on either side. This arrangement will only need 89" inches in width.

When tucking in just the left or the right Swing Door, you will need approximately 92" inches to arrange your DreamBox 2. See inside Sherri's tour for a closer look:

Curved Side Boxes & Swing Doors

If you're looking for the accessibility of a U-shaped workflow, but with a bit more wiggle room, you can curve in your Side Boxes & Swing Doors to preserve the open workspace. This setup can vary depending on how much you curve in both of the doors. Overall, it may require an approximate 87" inches in width for the DreamBox 2.
