Weight+Location based shipping within the Continental USA.

Your shipping costs are determined by where you are located, what you have ordered, and can vary anywhere from $200-$600+, but we are offering free shipping anywhere in the continental USA.

Tracking Information:
You can track your order on its way to the delivery hub. Please note that the ETA on your tracking number estimates your order’s arrival to the hub, not your home. After arrival, the delivery hub will contact you to schedule curbside delivery. If they are unable to contact you, you will be responsible for any storage fees incurred beyond their two-day courtesy window.

Orders are shipped by freight on a custom crate. The custom crates are built to the dimensions of the products we are shipping, to help protect the product during the shipping process. 

Below is an example of the type of custom crates we ship out of our warehouse.
Please be prepared to break down your crate and bring your items inside of your own home or garage as the delivery company will not offer additional services under the price of shipping paid online. 

**IMPORTANT: The freight companies CANNOT take your DELIVERY into your house. All deliveries are CURBSIDE only. This is a common policy among all freight companies. Special accommodations for your shipment may be worked out between you and the freight company.  Please call us before shipping if you live on a street that an 18 wheeler truck may have a hard time getting to as delivery may not be possible to your curb.  For example low hanging power lines, tree branches, not a through street, etc.  

 

Our shipping and delivery charges only cover CURBSIDE delivery. Details are listed below describing the services offered under the curbside delivery policy with our freight company. 

Accessories do not need a custom pallet to ship and shipping prices are also determined by weight and location.

International:  You can now order on our Canada , Europe, or United Kingdom website:  www.theoriginalscrapbox.caeu.theoriginalscrapbox.com, uk.theoriginalscrapbox.com. You may be contacted if price changes, you have additional charges, or receive money back.

If you have issues at ANY point in the delivery, call our Customer Service Department at (801) 226-2686 and we will assist you.

Delivery

Your order may take 1-8 weeks to ship from our warehouse.  
Once prepared, and depending on your location, your order will take up to 10-14 business days to be delivered. If the product you want to order is out of stock, leaving an email on our website will help us contact you when the product is back in stock.

You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your order immediately after placing an order through our website. You will receive another e-mail with your tracking number when it ships from our warehouse.

Process of Delivery

Once your order has arrived in your city, you will receive a call from the shipping company to the phone number you provided to us during checkout, to schedule your delivery. You will be responsible for storage fees if our freight company is unable to schedule a time with you. 

When your order is delivered you will be required to sign for it

Please briefly inspect the shipment with the driver to see if there are external damages. Your shipment should be delivered in a custom crate, if for any reason you feel your crating has been tampered with or the pallet was not delivered with your shipment, please take a picture and notify customerservice@theoriginalscrapbox.com. Our freight company has been instructed not to disassemble any part of our crate system.

Safety Information

At The Original ScrapBox we value safety and security in your home. For this reason we have put together a ScrapBox Security Kit to prevent furniture from tipping. If you have purchased our furniture and would like to receive a free Security Kit, please contact us at (801) 226-2686.

WARNING: Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from tipping furniture. To best way to  prevent tip-over, please review these guidelines for our furniture:

  1. MOBILE UNIT: CLOSE CABINET WHEN MOVING FURNITURE—  side cabinets add stability. Moving the unit while in the OPEN position, adds risk of the cabinet tipping over. Be sure to have two people to help during assembly.
    Serious or fatal injuries can occur from tipping furniture. 
    Always use caution when positioning.

  2. WHEN CABINET IS IN USE, PLEASE EXTEND ALL TABLE LEGS— For cabinet to function properly all tables and table legs must be installed and table legs must be extended. Our cabinets are designed to be operated with hideaway tables and folding legs to provide a strong and stable platform.
    Extending center box table legs will reduce potential hazard. 
    Using our cabinets without the tables or legs properly installed and extended will increase the risk of the cabinet tipping over. 

  3. AVOID TOP STORAGE— Please refrain from storing your items on top of the crown accessory— it is not designed for storage use. 
    Storing items on top of crown may increase the risks of tipping furniture. 

  4. CHECK FOR LEVEL FLOORSPACE— our cabinets works best on level hardwood-like flooring.  Carpet may cause the wheels to catch or drag while in motion.  
    Please use caution moving the cabinet in conditions where flooring may affect the movement of the piece— move unit when all doors are CLOSED.

  5. ADDITIONAL SAFETY MEASURES— For any concerns relating to the safety of our cabinets, please inquire with our team for additional products and information to keep your home secure. Please see warning stickers provided on packaging and cabinet parts. Safety kits provided with furniture include additional instruction.
